Use this app to determine the Reynolds number, friction factor and pressure change for a given gas / liquid for a specific pipe.

Enter the following :
Pipe diameter in meters
Flow velocity on m/sec
Pipe roughness
Fluid / gas density in kg/m³
Kinematic viscosity in m²/s

WIth over 16 quick reference pipe roughness types, ranging from Aluminium to Wood. Dont worry if your specific pipe roughness is not there, simply enter in the roughness in the relevant field and the calculator will use that value.

We have added over 6 standard liquids / gasses ranging from Air to Water. Dont worry if your specific gas / liquid isnt there. Simply enter the relevant density viscosity in the fields and the calculator will use those values.
